School Uniform
At Bolton Brow, we believe a smart school uniform helps create a sense of pride and belonging among our pupils. Our uniform reflects the values of our school community and ensures children are ready to learn each day.Below you’ll find clear guidance on our required items and expectations for wearing uniform throughout the year.
Bolton Brow Uniform
• Grey or black trousers, shorts, pinafore or skirt
• White or navy-blue polo-shirt (logo optional) or white shirt.
• Navy blue jumper or cardigan (logo optional)
• Plain black shoes/trainers which are appropriate for playing out in – sport trainers may be worn on a Monday & Friday for the 1 K run.
• Grey or navy-blue tights or white, grey or black socks
• Optional blue and white checked summer dress
Our PE kit
• A draw string bag or similar
• Black / navy shorts or navy/ black leggings
• A t-shirt matching their House team colour
• Pumps or trainers
• During winter months, children may bring plain dark coloured jogging bottoms and sweatshirt or a track suit

Second hand uniform
Our PFA also sell second hand items, to save you money and raise funds for the school. Please ask at the school office
When you child outgrows their uniform, if it is still in good condition, please donate it to the school.
School Uniform should be worn by all children from Reception class onwards. It is expected that parents and carers will support their children to wear the school uniform
All uniform and coats should be clearly labelled with children’s names. Named items are returned to children directly.
Children should not wear any other fashion accessories. Jewellery should not be worn however a wristwatch and a pair of plain gold or silver stud earrings or a single stud earring worn in the lobe of the ear is acceptable. On PE days, children will be responsible for their own jewellery when it is removed. Children who are unable to remove their own earrings should not wear them on PE days. Make-up is not permitted, and this also includes nail varnish. Hair must be neat and tidy with no ‘extreme’ styles or unnatural colours. Fashion styles, including very short hair with patterns etc. cut into the hair are not permitted. Long hair must be tied back using ribbons or headbands which are plain blue, black or white in colour.
