Admissions

So you want to join Bolton Brow? Great choice! Here’s how.

If your child isn’t old enough to start school yet, it’s a good idea to arrange a tour of the school so you can meet our friendly staff and get a good feel for the place!

It’s a good idea to think of some questions that you’d like to ask us and tell us a little bit about your family and what’s important to you.

Starting school in another year

Children may be able to join our school in other year groups at any time during the school year, if a place is available.  Please contact us to arrange a visit and to discuss this.

All in year applications should be made via the Local Authority. Please click on the button below.

Starting Nursery

Children are admitted to our Nursery class three times a year (September, January and after Easter) from the term following their 3rd birthday (or later). Full time and part time places are available, and full or half days, which is ideal for introducing children to the school environment.

If you want your child to start in Nursery, you apply directly to school. Contact us to arrange a visit and pick up an application form in the school office.

All 3 and 4 year olds in England are entitled to 15 hours free childcare per week. Many families are entitled to 30 hours. Please contact the school office for further information.
